Customer Service Representative, Personal Lines at our Guelph Office
Van Allen Insurance is currently seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative, Personal Lines at our Guelph Office. The successful candidate will service personal insured lines, while maintaining exceptional customer service. This position is required in office on a full-time basis.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will:
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a timely manner
- Welcome clients to the office and ensure positive customer experience
- Provide expert and pro-active client service to an established book of business
- Review and prepare renewals, ensuring clients are properly protected
- Identify and act on cross sell opportunities based on client needs
- Quote new business, prepare applications and submit documentation to insurers
- Manage follow up/abeyance system and renewal logs, in a timely manner
- Respond to client requests and inquiries in a prompt and professional manner
- Service new and existing clients with outstanding service, resulting in excellent NPS and client retention
- Build relationships with clients to grow their professional network
- Work collaboratively with all internal and external parties of Van Allen Insurance

The following qualifications are preferred but not required. We are willing to train and license the right candidate:
- RIBO License
- Post-secondary education in business administration
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Applied Rating Services and Power Broker
